Our Family at Paradise Cane Corso
SARG
Sarg Shamar del Colosseo is the son of Rock of Primus – other Primus sons, Cerberus, Diamonte (IRONDOG national record holder – most weight ever pulled by ANY dog of any breed on the flat sled), Cubi (SARTECH III nationally certified Search & Rescue dog), Chesty (CGC titled & certified Service/therapy dog). Primus Del Colosseo, one of the best, most consistent lines in the country in all 5 areas: physical conformation, athleticism and agility, temperament, work drive and health. Sarg is very involved in Schutzhund training and hopefully will be tested soon. At his third class the trainer Les Flores, who is a national champion with his dog, said, “Sarg is the Malinois of the Cane Corsos.” He was recently entered in an IABCA show and won best of Breed. The Judge said, “He is an excellent example of a Cane Corso. He has great lines and moves around the ring extremely well.”

RAYA
Raya ShoMerit – Hebrew for ‘Female Guardian of my Female Companion. We purchased Raya to be the guardian of our property which is off the beaten track and a pet. She is not only our protector she became a wonderful friend and companion immediately. She wove her way into our hearts. She sleeps beside our bed at night and sits on the door step when I am gone. She announces the arrival of a car long before it comes down the driveway. Once we tell her it’s OK her tail starts wagging. She made us fall in love with Cane Corsos. She is such a great mommy. Raya has great lineage with several champions and double champions in her line.

Every so often you see a dog that stops you dead in your tracks. You stare in amazement at a dog that is the ultimate “total package”;
Paradise’s Sarg is that kind of specimen.
He is the embodiment of Strength, Mass Beauty and Speed. His head is massive even for a Corso. His perfectly cropped ears sit just above a set of beautiful deep amber eyes. An enormous neck blends into a pair of shoulders that any NFL linebacker would be proud of. All this tapers back into a tight small waist reminding us of Arnold “back in the day”. Giving perfect symmetry to his powerful mass, he sits atop a set of nimble, agile, racehorse legs, adding grace, speed and agility to his list of natural gifts. His hulking figure is then wrapped in a beautiful carpet of Root Beer Brindle. His fearless personal gives silent indication that this is an animal capable of calling up great feats, yet is calm and compliant because he wills it.
While looking at this great beast you sense the pride that the creator took in his creation . . .
